We popped in on the way back from a walk and ordered a few starters. They took 40 minutes to come. People who arrived a long time after us were getting served first and in the end we had to say something. When the food came out it was cold like it had been sat there. Was a shame as we have been to a few vintage inns and all been very good service and food.

I had roasted veg wrap. Left most of it. Tough and tasteless. Just full of bits of salad and odd tiny bit of veg. Husband had fish finger sandwich. Not very good either. Would not recommend. Staff were very good.

Really well presented pub, banging food and great staff and service. It got busy and we were waiting for a while for the puddings so we were refunded the cost without evening asking! You've got it right here guys fair play to you, keep doing what you are doing and we will 100% be back! 😊

From start to finish excellent! Came for lunch with my sister as we were greeted with a warm welcome. The food was excellent and the waitress Deb was very warm and bang on with the service! She recommended the lasagne and it was delicious

Valentines meal. We both had the rib eye steak and it was undercooked and very fatty, rare instead of medium rare. Given a discount off the bill to compensate, but would have preferred the food to have been cooked properly as it ruined the experience.

Such a lovely, friendly pub and welcoming atmosphere. Staff are very helpful, efficient service and food is delicious. The pub is very quirky, ideally decorated for its location. Dogs are also welcome. Large car park and is easy to find. This pub is well worth a visit.

Had a wonderful evening at The Wolseley Arms. Beautiful food and great service. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Warm and relaxing environment. Would definitely recommend. Perfect evening.

What amazing food and service,
Their signature dish is a burger and it is to die for it's big though so only have it if you're really hungry.🤤🍔

Visited this pub a couple of times after hiking in the local area. Pub is often busy with food bookings but had some tables outside to enjoy a drink.
